Rodney Brooks, a pioneer in AI and robotics, is renowned for his significant contributions to these fields. As a Founder and CTO of Robust.AI, he aims to revolutionize the interaction between humans and robots by integrating AI, robotics and human-centered design. Previously, he served as the Panasonic Professor of Robotics (emeritus) at MIT and was the director of MIT's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and later the MIT Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) from 1997 to 2007. Rodney is also the founder of Rethink Robotics and a co-founder of iRobot Corp. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and has a prolific academic and industry career, marked by groundbreaking research and influential publications.
